PROJECT MISE EN PLACE
Terrigal Pavilion is the newest beachfront go-to spot on the NSW Central Coast by the same owners of the acclaimed Gold Coast venue, Burleigh Pavilion.
When we were approached for this project, the brief was to create uniforms that reflected the same level of detail found across the various outlets within Terrigal Pavilion.
Their venues tend to be well-curated, every space intentionally designed, and uniforms are a part of that process when creating a hospitality experience.

PROCESS NOTES
Owners of Terrigal Pavilion, Ben and Pippa, paid a visit to our Surry Hills showroom. They were already familiar with the Worktones range, with staff at another of their venues, The Joey in Palm Beach, currently wearing our aprons.
Terrigal Pavilion was opened with three different concepts - the main casual dining pavilion, a seafood restaurant called The Tropic and a cafe called The General Store.
The initial idea was that each outlet would wear an apron with custom embroidery, but once we saw the distinct colour palette for The Tropic, featuring colours like pastel pinks, terracotta, cream and yellows, we suggested exploring a bespoke route.
This included a custom coverall for hostesses to present a strong first impression to those first greeting patrons, which became the hero piece in this project.
It was an organic process, they were clear on the identity of the pieces - the colours, the branding and who would wear them. We translated that brief into mock-ups, in some cases customising our ready-to-wear range and in others creating bespoke pieces.
