PROJECT MISE EN PLACE
Coffee Supreme have built a loveable, community-driven brand over the past 20 years alongside their industry-leading coffee.
Championing people at every stage of the coffee journey is central to who they are and to bring that ethos to life, they set out to create a workwear collection for the people who make great coffee happen.
Coffee Supreme, in collaboration with their long-time partner, La Marzocco, turned to Worktones for the job.
Worktones have been collaborating with Coffee Supreme since 2019, creating caps, tea towels, and aprons. Expanding into garments felt like a natural next step.
Coffee Supreme has a design sensibility that feels both retro and timeless. They’re so good at striking a balance between appealing to the masses and feeling special, like you’re in the know for buying their product. They’re the perfect brand to launch a workwear collection like this.

PROCESS NOTES
With Coffee Supreme’s brand dialled in, the brief for the collection was straightforward: coveralls, a work shirt, and a cap. Worktones quickly translated their ideas into garment drawings and brought the vision to life.
The cap and work shirt used two standard Worktones’ blocks as a starting point. The cap is based on our 6-panel Dad Cap and the work shirt was a take on our Dynamo Shirt.
This cut a lot of the legwork out of the process and gave the team at Coffee Supreme an early understanding on the style, size and fit.
For the coveralls, Worktones adapted a silhouette they’d worked with previously, making it so that they’d cinch on or above the hips. This detail gives wearers the flexibility to adjust the rise depending on their shape and preference.
ORDER UP
Each piece in the collection comes in dark navy and features a Coffee Supreme x La Marzocco logo lockup. The cap includes white contrast stitching and has been enzyme-washed for a soft, lived-in feel. Both the work shirt and coveralls feature a front patch and bold back print.
Made from 100% cotton, the entire collection was tried and tested by a team of coffee professionals—from cafe managers to technicians—to ensure quality, comfort, and functionality before being released to the public.
THE REVIEW
We've always trusted Worktones to get the details right, so when it came to making proper workwear, we knew they were the ones for the job. They nailed the brief. The gear looks sharp, holds up on the job, and our crew genuinely loves wearing it. It's been getting love in our cafes and well beyond.
